Adwait Biwalkar is a renowned music teacher, composer and a pianist from Mumbai. His music education commenced at an early age of 6 under the tutelage of his father Shriram Biwalkar, a well renowned guitarist and an arranger from Mumbai. He studied classical piano in Mumbai for over a decade under tutelage of senior teachers like Evelyn Acharya, Roshan Chowna and Nyla Masood. Alongside he also took guidance from the well renowned music arranger Late Mr. Anil Mohile on arranging music for commercial Hindi films' soundtracks. He has studied jazz music with Benedict D'Silva, a senior jazz teacher from Mumbai.
He has completed QCF Level 3 examinations in Piano Solo, Jazz Piano, Theory of Music and Popular Music Theory. Currently he is studying jazz piano, Brazilian music and composition and arrangement from well renowned teachers/musicians like Philippe Baden Powell, Lilian Dericq, Julien Alour and Joe Makholm at Bill Evans Piano Academy, Paris.
At age of 15 he started working in various recording studios in Mumbai as a sound recordist and a recording assistant. He has taught piano for over a decade and has taught in Theme Music Institute Pvt. Ltd.,Mumbai for over 7 years. He has played piano as a soloist and as an accompanist in various concerts with many musicians and singers such as Shaan, Sudesh Bhosale, Vaishali Samant, Suresh Wadkar, etc. He has performed as a piano accompanist for various western choirs which include many school choirs. Worked as a music director/composer on various projects headed by renowned production houses like Sony Music, Mac Productions, Big Screen Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., Whistling Woods International (WWI), etc.
